Re: COVID-19 is being blown out of proportion - Change my mind

The police are now going to be following people and arresting them if they violate quarantine or social distancing rules.

Nobody is putting an expiration date on these "temporary" measures.

This is alarming.

COVID-19 is being blown out of proportion - Change my mind

I am becoming far more concerned about the lock-down than I am about the virus. I posted this on Facebook and they deleted it: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/03/exclusive-evidence-shows-director-general-of-world-health-organization-severely-overstated-the-fatality-rate-of-the-coronavirus-lead...

Is Jim Karahalios the guy to clean up the CPC?

This is worth watching. The Ontario PC Party allegedly committed voter, and Jim K when after them.

I think the CPC needs him in this race, even if he doesn't win.

Drain the swamp. ;)

I love how we were told yesterday that there were be a lot of tests coming back today from the US, so we could expect a sudden upsurge in cases.

Today, that is exactly what happened...and the same media is hysterical.

A few days ago we had a train derailment that we could see from our house. Another one today in Alberta.

Have we moved from blockades to sabotage?

US media trying to incite panic, crash the market

Watching the news, even Fox, is so frustrating. Despite the fact that the COVID-19 epidemic is pretty well done in China, and has slowed drastically in South Korea and Singapore, the news is all about pushing the narrative that we are all gonna DIE! We have taken reasonable steps to prepare. We have...

Re: Worries grow that quarantine in China not enough to stem increasingly virulent coronavirus

I think the reaction to this thing is becoming more dangerous than the virus, itself! We are taking Vitamin C and D, and we have elderberry syrup on hand (I just beat a cold in two days with that stuff). My gut feeling is that this is going to die down by the end of flu season. That is just my hunch...

Re: Worries grow that quarantine in China not enough to stem increasingly virulent coronavirus

I wish we could get some accurate information. Some are saying this will be far less of a problem than the seasonal flu. Others are saying that China is covering up mass carnage, and burning so many bodies that they can see a noticeable amount of gas from it. I suspect the reality is somewhere in be...

I don't know, Duane.

Rush looked very ill. I thought it was a good thing they did it on the spot because I have a bad feeling about his longevity. :-(

I have to admit, the surprise and joy on his face made me tear up, too. But, I have always been a Rush fan.

I think a lot rides on who wins this leadership race. If it is MacKay, or another red tory, I think there will be momentum to grow the PPC (or another option).

We (FD) would be in a good position to help grow that if the government doesn't deny us a website license. :D
