The notion that sports, media, and entertainment figures are prepared to tackle thorny political issues is inane. If they want to contribute, they can run for office and work where their voice and vote on issues counts. Otherwise, they are dispensing free advice which is worth what we paid for it.

Trudeau is providing an illusion of making children safe that he cannot fulfill.

When those anxious parents demand that the principal use federal funds to improve ventilation, he is stuck with the problem of illusionary support, not Trudeau. There is no excuse for that behaviour.
