A B.C. couple from Invermere in the east Kootenay region recently were turned away at the U.S. border as they attempted to begin a road trip to Mexico where they own property and need to pay taxes and do maintenance.

That's a problem in and of itself, but apparently the six minute chat with the U.S. border guard counts as foreign travel and now they are expected to self isolate at home for two weeks.

This thread could be just the start of a collection of ridiculous over-reaction stories related to the phantom pandemic (apparently somebody somewhere did get sick, trust me, I've done extensive research on this).
