Of course they are.

Everyone who is sitting at home and getting paid wants the lockdown to keep going. This is a big problem.

Wife is private school teacher, so her living depends on school starting this September.

Nope, while she gets decent benefits and pension nothing near as good as public school teachers. And private schools get inspected by the Ministry where they sit in their classrooms - which does not happen to public schools!
